Three South Korean companies Friday signed a memorandum of understanding to run the blockchain-based healthcare platform.

The three are Hyundai BS&C, Green Cross Health Care and Hdac. They will also use the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies to provide what they call smart healthcare services to the public.

They will use IOT to help people enjoy all medical and health services, from regular medical checkups, DNA test, hospital reservation, information on healthy foods and medical insurance services. The blockchain technology would help people monitor all of these personal data, according to their joint statement.
