On August 16, Gyeonggi-do announced that, starting August 16th to 21st, it will recruit 25 students to take the ‘2020 Blockchain Campus Manpower Training and Startup Support Education’. There will be two courses: general and expert.

This education will be held in Pangyo Gyeonggi Creative Economy Innovation Center with a total of five courses from September until January 2021. It operates 8 hours a day, and the process is as follows; ▲Blockchain in General ▲Blockchain Expert (Blockchain Platform Analysis, dAPP Development, Modeling, Basic Modeling, Intensive Modeling) ▲Intensive Core Coding ▲CEO ▲Mixed Education

The subjects of education are for prospective entrepreneurs and start-ups interested in blockchain technology, employees of IT companies, university students, and the general public. Students can choose and take courses according to their level. Education is provided free of charge, and a certificate of completion in the name of the Director of Gyeonggi-do Economics and Science Promotion will be issued to students who complete more than 80% of the scheduled course.

General courses are recruited on a first-come, first-served basis, and for expert courses, finalists will be announced individually according to the results of the entrance examination (or interview). ‘Blockchain Campus’ is a Gyeonggi-do recruits ‘2020 Blockchain Campus’ trainees professional education program that Gyeonggi-do has implemented since 2018 to expand the base of the blockchain industry and cultivate experts in related fields, and produced a total of 624 graduates in the past year alone.
