Oh Gap-soo, president of the Global Finance Studies, has been named to lead the Korea Blockchain Association. He is to replace Chin Dae-jae, who has led the association for the past 17 months.
Professor Oh has served as the vice chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission, the vice chairman of the SC Bank, and outside director of KB Bank.
The association would formally name him as its chairman on June 24.
