Ahnlab and Yehmobi became the members of the governing council of the Klaytn, the blockchain portal Kakao’s subsidiary Ground X developed.

Ahnlab and global mobile ad firm Yehmobi will be responsible for making critical decisions on Klaytn and running the ‘consensus node.’

A Ground X spokesman said Klaytn would become a global company with a particular focus on Asia.

Klaytn is the blockchain portal where 20 global companies are participating.

The participating companies include LG Electronics, LG U+, Philippines Union Bank, and Hong Kong’s fintech firm Hashkey.
