The Upbit cryptocurrency exchange has advised investors against hackers.
It said unidentified hackers pose themselves as Upbit employees and sent emails to entice investors into installing specific files on personal computers. They claimed that the file installation is for the safety of the cryptocurrencies of investors.
Once mail receivers install the file, hackers steal all customer information and take out money from customers.
Upbit advised investors to delete files whenever they receive such suspicious emails.
