The Kyunghee University Dental Hospital would use the Medibloc’s electronic medical records in treating patients.
The hospital said it became the world’s first in treating patients through the blockchain-based digital records.
In the blockchain records, doctors can review all past treatment history of dental patients, the current status of teeth and gum, and facial structure.
Medibloc is a South Korean company which pioneers the blockchain-based medical services.
