Consumers will enjoy benefits of blockchain platforms

So far the most significant question consumers have been asking is what benefits they can enjoy in daily life. People have a sketchy and abstract idea about blockchain.

But from this year, people would enjoy the benefits of blockchain technology.

The South Korean government would put the six major blockchain projects into public use this year.

The blockchain platform would apply to online voting, tracking the origin of livestock and port cargo processing.

In the private sector, Kakao Klayton would commercialize its blockchain projects called Terra this year. The project covers blockchain platforms covering food, clothing, living, and entertainment.

Klayton, Kakao’s blockchain project, has partnered with eight blockchain developers. For example, Whatcha, often dubbed the Korean version of Netflix, would be available to 4.5 million South Korean movie fans this year.

South Korea’s most popular food home delivery app, called baemin, and online ticketing app, called ticketmonster, have teamed up with Klayton. They would use the blockchain-based bill settlement system.

The blockchain-based decentralized Apps would be widely available to consumers from this year.
