Global blockchain-based healthcare firm Medibloc has launched its main net Panacea. Wednesday.

Panacea would enable patients to store, use, update, and transfer their medical records.

Medibloc seeks to help patients worldwide to regain their rights to medical records.

Panacea users will have the right to decide whether their medical records could be used for Big Data analysis. They can store and retried their medical records on websites and mobile apps.

Medibloc will open its Medipass, through which they can demand medical insurance.

The government named Medibloc to do state projects through artificial intelligence through 2023. It has teamed up with Seoul National University Hospital, Severance Hospital, Catholic Hospital, and other hospitals to establish a blockchain-based network on medical records.

Forbes named Medibloc among South Korea’s top 10 promising startups last year and the nine promising global blockchain enterprises this year.
