South Korea’s crytpcurrency exchange Bithumb angered investors for its wrong posting on the price of WET (We Show Token), which was listed Thursday afternoon.
WET’s initial listing price was 60 won at 5 p.m. Three hours and twenty minutes later, it was traded at 42.3 won, almost 18 won below the initial price. However, Bithumb wrongly posted its price rose 350 percent.
This wrong information angered investors and Bithumb immediately issued an apology statement, saying that the exchange could not accurately post the price change for technical errors.
