Ground X, the subsidiary of South Korea’s No.1 public messenger service Kakao, seeks to become a leading global blockchain-based platform in two years.
It unveiled its main net Cypress and nine new partner companies Tuesday in a ceremony to launch its blockchain platform in Seoul.
Ground X’s blockchain platform Klaytn said it seeks to provide services of help to the daily life of the people.
Ground X boasts of a quick linking time in blockchain services. It also said it underwent rigorous auditing from the nation’s four major security companies. Its partner companies include many global enterprises.
Ground X would abide by anti-money laundering rules and exclude gambling companies from its partners. Customers will use real-names, it said.
