A global ranking agency ranked Upbit and Bithumb as the first and last among South Korean exchanges in cybersecurity.

The Crypto Exchange Ranks put Upbit in the 14th in the global cybersecurity ranking, making it the safest and secure South Korean exchange.

Coinone ranked 22nd globally, while Korbit and GOPAX were 51st and 56th respectively. The ranking was 88th for Cashierest and 91st for CoinZest. Coinbit was the 97th, and Bithumb was 98th among the 100 global exchanges it surveyed.

Upbit and CoinOne scored 8.02 equally in server security, but Upbit got a perfect 10 in user security, ahead of CoinOne, which got 7.81.

Shocking is the Bithumb, which had once claimed to enjoy the world’s largest trading volume. It got 6.24 in server security, 7.81 in user security and 1.5 in historical security.
