Cryptocurrency exchanges must either get a license or report to regulators. Those with criminal records would be unable to become the operator of the exchanges.

The exchanges must collect and store senders and receivers of cryptocurrencies and report the transfer records to regulators, if necessary.

These are the highlights of global guidelines on cryptocurrencies heads of global anti-money laundering agencies adopted in Orlando last week.

 

South Korea is likely to put these guidelines into law next year.
