[블록미디어 명정선 기자] 세계 최대 스테이블코인 발행사 테더(Tether)가 미국 금융시장을 겨냥한 새로운 상품을 출시할 계획이라고 밝혔다. 이번 상품은 최근 발효된 ‘지니어스(GENIUS) 법안’의 규제 요건을 충족하도록 설계될 예정이다.
파올로 아르도이노(Paolo Ardoino) 테더 최고경영자(CEO)는 19일(현지시간) 공개된 인터뷰에서 이 같은 방침을 밝혔다. 아르도이노 CEO는 “미국 규제 환경에 부합하는 방식으로 금융 혁신을 이어가겠다”고 말했다.
