Let’s suppose that we are tied up in traffic for over two hours.
It is really annoying! Usually in my car, I used to imagine like this. ‘There will be no traffic jam using flying cars.’
Exactly same thing happens on Ethereum ecosystem.
According to available data, the network currently runs at full capacity 24 hours everyday, with approximately 40,000-50,000 transactions unable to make it through traffic jams each day.
This happens because of the basic principles of demand and supply.
Demand is higher than Supply. These surplus demand makes these bottlenecks.
Because Ethereum is the home base of thousands of applications, not only does it need an upgrade badly, the required changes are far too complex for a soft fork.
When traffics are so bad, we clearly needs the help of some traffic officers.
This is the reason we need Ethereum hardfork!
