Kakao Thursday denied a report that the online chatting site, would issue cryptocurrencies.
The denial came after a report that Kakao was planning to raise funds through the issuance of its coins. “We have no plan to issue Kakao coins,” a Kakao spokesman said.
However, its blockchain project Klaytn plans to issue Klay coins. The spokesman said its subsidiary was running the Klaytn project.
