South Korea’s first blockchain-based payment service provider Coinone Transfer said it would help customers send money to China.
Currently, it provides cash transfer service to Vietnam, Malaysia, India, Thailand, the Philippines, and Nepal.
The service is popular among Asian workers in South Korea as transfer fee is modest and transfer is quick.
Coinone said more than its cash transfer service is made through 100 Chinese banks. A daily cash transfer amount is more than 900,000 won and less than 3 million won.
About one million Chinese are living in the South. They account for 43 percent of all foreigners living in Korea.
