KEB Hana Bank joined the Enterprise Ethereum Alliance (EEA) this week, becoming the first South Korean bank to become a member of the global consortium.

The bank said it becomes a member of the hyper ledger EEA, with the hope that it would establish a global loyalty network.

KEB Hana Bank followed the LG CNS’ joining the alliance last week. Hanhwa, Samsung SDS, SK Telecom are members of the alliance, which includes Microsoft, Intel and JP Morgan as its members.
