The Seoul University of Foreign Studies will open courses on blockchain and data science in November through cooperation with the Korea Blockchain Industry Promotion Association and the Personal Security Enhancement Forum.

Yoon Hai-soo, president of the university, said its Micro College providing the courses is the hallmark of the cooperation among the academia, the industrial association, and the research institute. Blockchain and Big Data experts will participate in the program as special lecturers, he said.

The short-term course will enable students to get insights into the emerging core technologies of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, he added. The graduates will become leaders in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, he added,
