About 2,000 bankers, businesspeople, and fintech specialists are expected to participate in a two-day conference Inside Fin Tech with Blockchain Agenda, organizers said. The meeting will open at the KINTEX in Ilsan, north of Seoul.

The conference will explore Fintech 3.0, including blockchain technology and other decentralized solutions for financial processes, and its impact on the global financial ecosystem.

Participants can hear from the financial industry’s most forward-thinking individuals as they seek to leverage advances in technology to improve payments, investment strategies, mobile banking, navigate the world of regulation, and more. The organizers say “We will explore unique chemistry between Fintech entrepreneurs, investors, bankers and governments across Asia and the rest of the world.”

Featured speakers include Andy Nam, chief information officer of the Standard Chartered Bank and Park Se-youl, IBM chief blockchain technology officer.
