ASSAPLAY(www.assaplay.com, CEO, Son, Myung-chan), which provides blockchain-based O2O entertainment services centered on music themes, announced on the 9th of May that it has signed a business agreement for global business partnership with sandoll Meta Lab (www.sandollmetalab.com, CEO, Cho, Sung-min), which is working on a Korean font-based NFT project.

The two companies plan to seek together R&D, marketing, and various projects through the combination of ASSAPLAY’s music-oriented business and sandoll Meta Lab’s Korean font-based NFT business.

This is drawing high attention from the relevant industry in that it is a convergence of ASSAPLAY which has a global foundation for K-music and sandoll Meta Lab which operates the “Globalization of Korean Hangeul Culture” project as a leading Korean fonts company.

sandoll Meta Lab is conducting research and development of advanced blockchain technologies such as NFT separation and combination under the theme of Korean Hangeul and active DApp, and based on this, it has recently unveiled its first NFT project “TYPY” and challenged the global NFT market.

Also, sandoll Meta Lab is the first font development company in Korea and a subsidiary of “sandoll”, a font-specialized company that operated “sandoll Cloud”, the nation’s largest font platform services, established in 1984 under the name of “sandoll Typography”, and will continue to introduce Korean-based entertainment projects.
