OKExKorea has decided to suspend trading of dark coins such as XMR, DASH, ZEC, Zen, and SBTC.
The suspension is to honor the global anti-money laundering body’s guideline.
The organization, called the Financial Action Task Force, urged the member countries to suspend trading of cryptocurrencies whose senders and receivers cannot be traced,
The Upbit exchange had also suspended the trading of the dark coins, including XMR, DASH, ZEC, XHB, TUBE, and PIVX.
These exchanges made it clear that they would abide by the global guideline. The global body mandated the exchanges to record all cryptocurrency trading, and submit the data, if necessary, to regulators.
The rule is to prevent the use of cryptocurrencies for criminal financing and capital flight.
